SOLSTAFIR from Reykjavík have been on the road since 1995 and had made their first steps under the German banner of Ars Metalli. That´s long time ago, but after the absolutely grandiose output ''Otta'', the next SOLSTAFIR album will be released now with ''Berdreyminn''. It will feature 8 songs of Icelandic Heathen Rock Metal in 57 minutes. Since their breakthrough album ''Köld'' in 2009, the band has become the Icelandic export hit. Whenever the quartet releases a new album, from the psychedelic rock listener to the black metalist almost all lovers of eccentric guitar music begin hyperventilating. With their meanwhile 6th album, SOLSTAFIR take a tightrope walk between the preservation of their trademarks & a drastic reduction of the degree of hardness. Somehow typical SOLSTAFIR, albeit noticeably gentler & less rocking. So ''Berdreyminn'' is also relevant for people, who is actually Metal too hard music & they can be captivated by the band's unique sound. Silver Double Vinyl Edition is limited to 300 copies only, comes with printed inner sleeves included lyrics, bandphoto & artwork, packed in a nice gatefold Jacket.
