For long time now, HYPOCRISY have stood for genuine, highly melodic Death Metal and also in 2009 with material at the start, that has it all. ''A Taste Of Extreme Divinity'' so the name of the 11th full lenght album by the 3 Swedes and has become a typical HYPOCRISY work. It is interesting that passages such as those once played by AT THE GATES or SACRILEGE in 1995 celebrate their resurrection here. The drums are over-loud, violent and always present. In this case it is very successful, because it drives the vocals and rushes the leads. The half-baked experiments seem to be over. Nordic licks are buzzing, morning stars are whizzing and arrows are raining down all the time. The old Death Metal school also fits in seamlessly. Gosh, such a powerful album would has been nobody probably no longer expected to Peter Täggren, becaus who wanted to concentrate on PAIN. The master himself grunts through over 55 minutes, often sprinkles nasty screaming passages, the dynamics are incessantly increasing, there is a chaos of black throwing stars in all 11 songs + bonus track. Here, the limited edition of 300 copies Tape Version.
