Bergens HELHEIM, which has been in pagan service for over 27 years, is one of the most creative and reliable magnitude of Norwegian metal and they are baptize their 10th studio album ''Rignir''. Or should you say, from the eaves, because the work is primarily devoted to the rain, which likes often to afflicts the home town of the Norwegians extensively, and other subpolar weather phenomena. This is matched by the spiritually effective artwork with which Tom H'grimnir Korsvold has staged this motto so simply and effectively, and this includes the incredibly earthy, natural and yet massive sound image of the album, which is second to none. Bjørnar Erevik Nilsen and Herbrand Larsen really did a great job here at Conclave & Earshot Studio. Despite the stylistic and musical development that has obviously always taken place, the band has always remained true to itself, also with this 8 tracks in 2019, and it has grown with its own ambitions without offending its fans. With ''Rignir'' the 4 guys from Bergen once again present a work in which everything is 100% consistent. The weather concept, the artwork, the songs, the ethereal purity breathe as well as massive, indomitable primeval force, clarity and grimness.
