COMECON was a swedish death metal band, which came into focus in the early 90s, similar to BLOODBATH today, among other things through always changing their prominent singers. L-G Petrov from ENTOMBED started at the 1992`s debut ''Megatrends In Brutality '' and later Marc Grewe from MORGOTH was allowed to try it out. On the 2nd and possibly best work ''Converging Conspiracies'' by the Stockholm duo, no less than Martin van Drunen from ASPHYX gave the record its well-deserved splendor. Included are 12 tracks that brings something unique to the table for all fans of the Stockholm old school sounds of the 90s. As always, Martin Van Drunen delivers a vocal performance that you will love as a Death Metal disciple. In addition clever and very thoughtful, political statements & especially the playing by the guitarists and two only real members Rasmus Ekman and Pelle Ström can be described as ingenious. In 2016, this almost forgotten death metal pearl was pressed onto vinyl for the first time. Now in the second edition of 2019 available in the green vinyl version limited to 250 copies & with lyric insert.
