''Grom'' from 1996 is the 2nd full lenght album by the Polish trio BEHEMOTH from Gdansk. Gone are the days when the band tried to perfect the typical Nordic Black Metal, because the 8 songs are full of creativity. Almost every song has a playing time of six to seven minutes, and it takes some time to absorb all the intricacies. In doing so, the album alone resolutely sets itself apart from the earlier works due to its sound. So can ''Grom'' with its 45 minutes, which does not yet represent that famous turning point, but at least already announces it, a big step forward in right direction for the band. In any case, it has first bonds from the progressive Black/Death Metal, which will soon be the main influence of BEHEMOTH. Here as 2018´s re-issue on limited grey vinyl in a gatefold cover.
